The Magic Sunglasses is a practical, fun & interactive programme, to develop real self confidence in primary age children – ages 8-12
The Magic Sunglasses programme helps children discover how awareness of all their natural gifts and talents can be used as a real feel good factor and so an ongoing strength to achieve, in their everyday life. It allows for the individuality of each child but also covers diversity, that we are all different and that is ok.
The concept of discovering your inner strength is introduced in the story book and then put into practice for everyday life with a series of The Real Me Workshops. Related competitions and events will also feature later in the programme.
The Magic Sunglasses programme can help with the transition from junior to senior school. It provides a solid base for happier more confident teenage years so helping with growing social problems such as drugs, drinking, depression, suicide.
The Magic Sunglasses is flexible, covering most requirements for the PSHE in the UK National curriculum and requirements generally for personal, social & emotional development, providing a more holistic and useful identity for the child of who they are. It can be adapted to suit most needs.
The Magic Sunglasses – a metaphor for being able to “see inside yourself” to see how great you really are".
